Chigiri takes inspiration from the Japanese paper collage art style known as Chigiri-e. In Japanese, chigiri means to tear or shred, and e means picture. Using hand-dyed washi paper, Chigiri-e art allows for an endless variety of modern creative expressions and crafts.
